The form on our contact page does not send anything to our servers: it opens your own email app with a pre-filled message, and nothing reaches us until you press send there. When you write to us we receive your name, company, email address and whatever you put in the brief.
We use it only to reply, discuss the project and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. If no project follows, we delete the conversation within 24 months. If we work together, project correspondence and invoices are kept as long as UK tax and company law requires (normally six years).
We count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that uses no cookies and does not track you across other websites. It records pages viewed, the referring site, browser, device type and approximate country, and only shows us aggregated numbers. Your IP address is not stored. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful.
The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). To deliver pages and keep the service secure, the hosting provider processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser and the time of the request. Fonts and videos are served from our own domain: no requests go to Google Fonts or video platforms. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
We use a small number of providers, who process data only on our instructions:
We never sell personal data or use it for advertising. Some providers may process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area; when they do, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension) or by standard contractual clauses.
This website does not use cookies, so there is no cookie banner. It stores two small items in your browser:
aiyr4-splash (session storage): remembers that the opening animation has already played. It is deleted when you close the tab.aiyr4-theme (local storage): remembers light or dark mode, only if you switch it yourself. Both are strictly necessary for features you ask for and need no consent. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings. Links to LinkedIn and Instagram take you to sites with their own privacy and cookie policies.
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to 0001@aiyr4.com; we reply within one month.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
If the way we handle data changes, we update this page and the date below. Last updated: 16 October 2026.
